Qawam is a training, nutrition, and recovery coaching app for iPhone. Your training, nutrition, weight, and recovery records are stored on your device. This policy explains what leaves the device when you use account, subscription, or AI features.
You sign in with Apple or Google. This is handled by Firebase Authentication (a Google service) and gives us only an account identifier and, if you choose, your name and email. We use it to protect your access and to apply fair-use limits to the AI features. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
With your permission, Qawam reads the following from Apple Health on a read-only basis, to estimate your daily recovery and track your training and sleep:
Apple Health data is processed and stored only on your device. Apple Health data is never sent to Gemini or any other third-party AI service.
The training, weight, nutrition, and recovery data you enter is stored only on this device. Qawam does not sync these records through iCloud. You can export a copy from Settings.
When you request an AI meal estimate, workout plan import, or body-composition import, the information needed for that request is sent over an encrypted connection through Qawam's server to Google's Gemini API. Depending on the feature, this can include a meal photo or description, workout plan text or image, or body-composition report text or image. Coach and progress reads are calculated on your device.
Qawam's server uses the content to return the result and does not save the original request content after processing. It stores completed results against your account so retrying the same request can return the result without another AI charge, alongside usage counts needed to enforce fair-use limits. These cached results are removed when you delete your account. Google processes the content as Qawam's AI service provider and may retain prompts and responses for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its paid-service terms; it does not use paid-service prompts or responses to improve its products. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it.
Your 14-day free trial begins when you first sign in and does not require payment details or renew automatically. After it ends, Qawam Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles your payment; we never see your card details. We verify your subscription with Apple and store its status and your AI-usage counts against your account identifier so we can apply your plan and fair-use limits.
After account deletion, we retain limited purchase-safety records: Apple's original transaction identifier, product, expiry and refund status, and an opaque account-deletion marker. We remove the purchase's link to your deleted Qawam account. These records allow a valid purchase to be restored to a new account while preventing duplicate claims and reuse of refunded purchases. They do not include your name, email, food, workout, health records or saved photos.
No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, no selling or sharing of your data with data brokers.
